DISCOUNT SEED SCHEME 2011/12 (with Marshalls)

The AAG Committee has decided not to offer/organise a Discount Seed Scheme for 2011/12.

However Iris Rooney has kindly offered to organise a scheme for any plot-holders who would like to take part. This is the Marshalls Seeds Garden Club scheme, which was successfully run last year. Marshalls are an established, award winning company and have been given “Best Buy” status by Garden Which.  Feedback from plot holders last year was very positive.

The scheme offers discounts of at least 35% on seeds, as well as discounts on potatoes, onions, shallots, garlic, fruit, fertiliser and hardware. There are no delivery charges. There is a handling charge of £1 for orders under £12.

This is an online, internet based scheme. Plot holders can order and pay on the Marshalls website any time between now and the appropriate cut-off date.  All the orders will be delivered to Iris at   34 PIKES HILL EPSOM KT17 4EA   for plot holders to pick up about ten days later.   Iris will let you know when your order arrives.

There are two cut-off dates available.  The first is 26th October to allow you to order bulbs and seeds for autumn sowing, as well as fruit trees and bushes to be planted over winter. The second cut-off date is 1st February 2012, so that orders will arrive in plenty of time for early spring sowing next year.

How to order on the Internet

  1.       Go to
  2.       Click on the “Join an Existing Club” panel
  3.       On the next screen enter the access code for the AAG part of the site.  This is e8f86gbx

1st February 2012
